You may remember the news that Crytek UK have been working on an original first person shooter. Now it seems this FPS has appeared on IGN. Here is the short text about the game:
This first-person shooter is a brand new creation from Crytek UK (better known under its previous name, Free Radical) and the first to utilize the advanced CryEngine 3 for a next-generation shooting experience.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused by the broken forums. I have finally been able to restore the files and remove the phpbb3 cache which was maintaining the problem. The problem was caused by a faulty mod installation which failed to uninstall correctly. I have learnt from this problem so it shouldn’t happen again in the future or for anywhere near as long.
You may now use the forums with no problems. If you have not registered, registration is easy and you don’t need to validate your email unlike other places. After registration you can explain why you want Crytek UK to develop TimeSplitters 4.

The first day at E3 brought many announcements. One of those announcements was a GoldenEye remake, exclusively for the wii. It has 4 player split-screen with original characters and modes from the N64 game but will also include online multiplayer. The game will contain Daniel Craig and not Pierce Brosnan as bond and a new storyline, different from the original. It will be released this year, in November (apparently) and the graphics seem a little disappointing, even for the wii, but you can make your own mind up on that.

Do those health and armour bars may remind you of something?
David Doak and Steve Ellis formed Free Radical Design in 1999 and were joined by Graeme Norgate, Karl Hilton and Lee Ray. All of which worked previously at Rare, the company that made Goldeneye.
The TimeSplitters series can be considered to be GoldenEye’s legacy. The same enjoyment has carried through. The multiplayer brilliance and most obviously the HUD as examples.
If GoldenEye is considered to be one of the best games of all time and there is clearly market demand for such a game, what has happened to TimeSplitters 4?

What does this mean? It could possibly mean Crytek wishes to rerelease TimeSplitters Future Perfect on PC as suggested by some.
Maybe they will create an enhanced version with CryEngine 3? Could it be rereleased on console as well?
